Territory Route Sales Rep Job Description

* Follow a route and service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

* Input and submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.

* Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and end-of-day reports.

* Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

* Keep track daily of your product and POS inventory.

* Maintain a deposit ledger and correctly collect, input, and deposit money daily/weekly.

Must provide a driving record with NO:

* Major violations within the last 5 years

* Moving violations in the last 3 years

* Moving violations in the last year

* 2 or more at fault accidents in the last 3 years

* Any combination of “At Fault” accidents and Moving violations totaling *3 or more* in a Three year period

Hourly pay plus performance commission.
